Holster Your Gun (Bailey) and Sue Painter win SQH Championship Hi-Point Awards

Sue and Bailey - Holster Your Gun, had a fantastic SQH end of season Champs show! 

The duo won the Walk Jog Hi-Point award for the Sunday show, plus the overall Walk Jog Hi-Point award for the season... Plus the Overall Hi-Point award for SQH shows in 2019.

David Deptford presented them with superb ribbons and garlands made by Sarah Tibbles, a Bridal, Spur straps and a special Hi-Point bridal hanger made by Plasma Willie.

Sherwood Summer Sizzler Show 2019 was a fantastic show for Bailey, Louise & me

Well what a fantastic show we had , 5 days at Oakridge Summer Sizzler, at Oakridge Arena, Myself and “Holster Your Gun” and Louise Mcknight with “Give Me A Star” we won 4 Grand champion APHA mares , 2 Reserve Supreme champions, lots of 1st and 2nd rosettes under 2 judges , and ended with 3 beautiful High Point Horse trophies sponsored by “Oakridge Quarter Horses “.

A great few days at the British Reining Championships

We had a great few days at the British Reining Championships at Bodiam International Arena with some positive results in both the year end Hi Points and the Championship Classes.

Louise did a great job, Results were:- 

• Rookie Professional Champion with Accustomed to Shine
• Limited Open Reserve Champion with Holster Your Gun 
• Rookie Professional Hi Points Champion with Holster Your Gun and Reserve Champion with Accustomed to Shine
• Intermediate Open Reserve Hi Points Champion with Accustomed to Shine

Parkheath Stud proudly presents “Jersey”,  born March 19th. The first baby in the UK, by the great Yellow Jersey (By $7 Million Sire Wimpys Little Step and out of Miss Clara Melody).  The 2014 World Equestrian Games Team USA Gold Medalist, 2014 World Equestrian Games Individual Bronze Medalist 

Jersey is out of Holster your Gun a really nice daughter of Gunner out of a daughter of Smart Chic Olena. She is a 3/4 sister to Gunner Boy who won $100,000+.

Getting excited about our 2016 Foals

Our 2016 foals are due in March & April this year.

This Ones Cuttin It (Lucky), our Hollywood Dun It Mare, is in foal to Spooks Gotta Gun - who became a Million Dollar Sire in November 2015.  Her foal is due in March.
